That One Person

There comes a time in life
when the things you want most
aren't those you end up getting.
You just have to accept the cards
And turn the tables up your tune
Whatever you do, let it go rootless
'Cos, there will be thousands of people
you might come by in life
But there will be this one person
Who might not be as you dream of
or how you would have wished for
or how you might have chosen
But you will be happy
You will find none but just one reason
That will bring the goosebumps
all the enthusiasm to have him or her in your arms
That will make your life change
Your thoughts and thinkings change
Your regiments and smoothness
also change all of a sudden
Because of this one person
and then a day without that person
would be filled with reminiscing of your moments with him or her
Love breaks all curses
And is so beautiful and long
that every passing time
You wish this person would be there close
Just to hear him or her talk and smile
hold hands and share hugs
You would do anything
Even the craziest of all
And you would wait
No matter how long and hurting it might be
Because if you hadn't met that one person
You might never feel love
You might remain searching and weary
You might feel unloved and unloving
Who knows
So when you meet that one person,
Please stay, don't go
Make every efforts to tell your feelings and disclose
No matter who they are and come from
Love has no boundaries

This Feeling

This feeling, I do not know
Ever since I met you
I do not know why the nights
have engulf the sun this long
Please enlighten me
Why would I wait in the rain
Whiles there was roof my hear could lay
I do not know
But for you, I know
only this feeling and its weirdness
Just can't pin it down
'Cos for you
I have engraved in my heart
like tattoo or a sculpture
or an art calved deep
or a scar from a feeling
of a deeply felt love
You own me
From the day you set my love free
Every now and then
You are like a mystery book
Yet to be read
And every page promises life
and death alike
But I do not know
How you took my heart
And wrote you on it

Not Lost

He is able
The darkest and thickest tunnels
have light at the far end
So as the night and the moon
There is a morning awaiting
My dear friend
Let's not lose hope in God
He is making a way
Let's keep praying to Him
so that He will revive us
from this catastrophe
The saddest part of life
Is when death decides
to stay in one's house
with never-ending sadness
Redden eyes, traumatized thoughts
  and a giving up decision
All might not be well
But all is not lost
You still have me
Other friends and family
Things will turn around
When you expects least
My condolence! :( :(

The Real Deal

I would let you be the girl
that perfects the meaning of my poetry
I will sing you songs written with my soul
and buy you flowers each day
the prettiest there is
to show how beautiful you are
'Cos I know you will be
I know you will have the most amazing laugh
the prettiest smile and most awesome mind
I know your love would be worth it
 every second of it.
I will tell you all my stories
about the journey so far
how cupid's strings kept misdirecting
about all the lost wars and broken trust
All the legendary moments
and all of those reassured me that
you are nigh and nigh
'Cos the waiting times
wouldn't be wasted times
One day, the real deal will show up
and she would be amazing

Well

It was an enduring night
I must say, just as it ended right
All the pain of the previous day
The weariness of failure had to go away
And sure another day, today, or tomorrow
Will open another door, a calm wind to blow
For Everything to eventually end
The fact still remains as to how and when
The wills and yearns of that course
Which isn't lost yet but was
Well, the works of man still ends the night
Struggled and mightier for the mind to fight
Everyday, we try to make it our own way
And still progress seems possible but we still fail
We seems to forget that the testimonies of tomorrow
Isn't gonna come with our tied hands and voices low
Our testimonies has to tell a story to inspire
A lost course struggling to achieve it's desire
Well, a true testimony comes when we break down,
pray for His grace, for us to be found
And His mercies to keep us routed to His path
The grace of God is the only trust that breaks all facts,
Creates those diversion and breaks all protocols
And helps us from our knees crawls
Everything of this world is vain
Structured in circles of pain and shame
Lustful desires and boastful hearts
And we keep missing paths paved for us
The path of righteousness
according to God's own preference
So that our testimonies will ensure a lost course
Isn't as it was
For that enduring night
I must say, just as it is, will end right!

Home

 Hi, you there!
The night is cold already
Please tell me why
You are wrapped under these rags
Laying in front of that wrecked kiosk
I want to listen to all your stories

Many are there like this
Battling with the realms of bad parenting
Abuses, poverty, rejection, and hatred
Facing the wrath of the night
Its quakes and lightening
All the storms and rains
Well, I grew up realising that all those truth
Were some share shenanigans
Saturated to smear shame on our smiles
The titles of motherhood and fatherhood
Are responsibilities, not self-enriching claims
For a mother is to build a child
And a father is to provide
If these kids are able to build and provide
Then what use makes of those titles?
Until we realise that children are gifts,
The compliments that holds all those unions
Then we will understand the joy of God
Save a kid today,
Share some love to them
Enrich your house with one or two
Understand their growth
And embrace their youth
Pick them out of the streets
And feed their cheeks with love
'Cause no amount of wealth,
No amount of entitlements
Brings joy like building your own child

She

I still hide her in my poetry
In the veins of each line
in the soul of each rhyme
And In the shadows of every word
She started her story
And left half way
Cursing minds to imagine
How and what she would have been
I still miss her
The wakes of her smiles
And her daring beauty
The strength of her love
And the boldness of her believes
But what have I to say?
Than to hold on to her memories
Like it was yesterday!!

Kills me eveyday

The thoughts of you
Everyday kills me
The thoughts of you
Not being mine
Crushes my mind
Wreaked me to a point
Where nothing seems real
Love and its broken trust
Everything sickens me
Me not being able to talk to you
And look at you sickens me
This isn't easy
Not for me
Knowing that you can't be mine
Kills me everyday
Because I am puzzled
On finding the right words
To say to you
I would die either way

By the day

We receive lessons
By the day
As we only learn
When we fail
Rise, when we fall
So I made this
My own rules
To show smiles
Even when I'm broken
To defend and protect
My choices
Even when they are wrong
Heir's only when it's made
To fight when it's right
And make my options opened
So I realise something
That love's only from God
And man's not true
I realise that happiness
Is a priceless good
Lost among men
Regardless everything
I've not lost myself yet
I realise I got better
By the day
Me, alone
Fighting with my smiles
Arguing with my mind
Sleeping with my bed
Teasing with my stress
Talking with my shadow
And crying with my soul
I realise that
I became a better me
When everyone left

Pain

Pain is but some feelings
Left alone and denied
Pain is but lies covered
With smiles and cheerful talks

Pain is sudden and reflecting
Of a broken heart and a lost course
Pain is reassuring of
Our human nature and downs
Of our imperfections and blunts
Of our setbacks and fouls
Pain is but hidden
That our nature can't do without
That our muscles and packs
Can't bully at all
Pain is stronger than pride
Wakes the noise of introverts
And breaks silence to talkers
Pain reflects we can progress
That we can move pass our regrets
And compete for success
Pain traces how love's a curse
How deep hearts fall in mess
And confused minds couldn't rest

My Muse

You are my muse.
From the day I met you,
I knew how good and true
what this attraction drew
I knew the nights wouldn't feel blue
I knew all the morning wakes would be with you
I knew I could want all the thoughts
your mind allows
I knew my choices; my thens and nows
would be about you and me with no doubts
I knew I would have to be strong
to boldly hold all the tears
your eyes drops
I knew this day would come
when I take you by your hands
and grace them with pearls and gold
I knew when we are old and gold
when the love is lost and death is nigh
I knew I would remember this day,
the day I met you
You looked beautiful
and that you were the miracle
my soul yearned for,
my muse!

The Odds

What are the odds of finding her
What are the odds she would be perfect
What are the odds
she would still laugh at his jokes
and stay when he goes broke
What are the odds he is the one
to carry the weight of her burdened pillow
and her sickened face tomorrow
What are the odds he would stay the night
and when life his face smites
What are the odds she would say yes
when his knee is down and the roses are red
What are the odds love so strong
would strive through thick in the darkest dawn
What are the odds she would sing to him all the songs
of lovers rock and Shakespeare's thoughts
What are the odds he would wake up
Beside her, with kisses upon her head
What are the odds he wouldn't grow tired
of her talks and giggles
What are the odds
that when the tears won't stop
She would be there to comfort
What are the odds
of love smiling to us all along
What are the odds
that we would still be in love
when all these odds turn against us
What are the odds?

Chapter 12

Love wasn't enough
It got her hurt a lot
There was always a spine
A tickle, she could always find
All of those left her peaked
Faded smiles, and gave worse treats
All of those, promised and failed
Leaving patches and derailed
That made her strong and wild
Her kind hard to find
She doesn't need to be loved
Not at all, love couldn't solve
She's fought down to her soul
She need someone who wouldn't go
Someone who wouldn't promise her the pearls
But would be truthful throughout their spell
Someone who she could trust
And wouldn't leave her crushed
No one could, I bet you, I tried
Her kind is hard to find

Nothing At All

Miracles do happen
The blind gaining sight
The dumb singing songs of praise
And the deaf, just alike
Not like mine
The greatest of all I have seen
is waking up every morning
And been able to walk and talk
Pick and sit and think
'Cos when I slept, I was like them
With all my abilities been disabled
As the morning arose
Then His grace bestowed upon me
And this grace I do not have wit over
I do not pay for
What makes me different?
Nothing at all
And He gave without conditions
No methods, no ifs and no buts
And He's added other things
To make my day complete
Isn't God amazing?
And those needs and wants
Can't be compared to this grace
No problems and faults could be close
Nothing at all
No other reason is beautiful like this
to wake up and clap to His praise
sing and dance and wave
to His name
This is no other miracle
This is none like this.
